Glamorgan Half Day Rock Climbing Intro For Two

Rock Climbing Experience Days: Experience one of the greatest outdoor adventure activities out there with this half day introduction to rock climbing session in Glamorgan! You’ll learn to traverse limestone or sandstone cliffs as your expert instructor shows you the ropes of this exciting sport.

Your adventure day out begins in the perfect location of the South Welsh Brecon Beacons. You’ll meet your instructor and the rest of your group at the centre, then travel to your climbing destination. Depending on the skills you’d like to gain from your experience, you’ll either be tackling the limestone walls of a nearby quarry or heading to a sandstone buttress for your introduction to climbing. Once you’ve arrived, it’ll be time to get out there and get to grips with this exciting sport! You'll begin with bouldering, a fun variation on climbing that lets you master the basics as you traverse the rocks at a low level. Once you're feeling confident, it’ll be time to tackle a vertical climb! You’ll be taught the correct belaying procedure (how to hold your partners rope safely and securely) then you’re off! Depending on how comfortable you feel, you can tackle a variety of routes with differing challenges and heights, improving your technique every time you climb.
